About the Work: Shimmering Surf was inspired by my passion for the ocean. The ocean embraces all my senses of sight, smell, taste, sound and texture. The interplay of shadows and light of Shimmering Surf keep my eyes wandering throughout the neutral-colored composition; whether the artwork lights are on or not, or if it is day or nighttime. This piece soothes my soul. It is my hope that you, the viewer, experience similar joy using all your senses...except the tasting part...it is not edible!
