About the work: Ballet is such a vibrant and expressive form of visual art that it came natural to use the Expressionism Art Style in expressing my immense enjoyment of the dance form. I chose to use the primary colors but in a vibrant collision of paint strokes to create an emotional response to the beauty of the dancer's form. In elongating the shapes and perspective to the figure, I hope I have paid homage to the extraordinary complexity that the art form of dance provides.
