Artist Statement:
“Art Magic” was created with the '"tools of the trade". The magic happens when an artist mixes these tools with the creative mind to allow the image to appear. Initially I put the canvas into the ocean to give me a sandy, salty, wet surface to then pour, sprinkle acrylic on top. This is all organic, random wonderfulness and abstract when dry. Then, I look at it to imagine what the artwork is telling me to do. In this case, an artist palette emerged! From there, I added more paint to support the palette idea. Then I added the brushes in various positions. I made the paint brushes white and some floating so that they seemed more magical…as if the invisible apprentices could participate in the creation of new art!"
